Dressing the Christmas Tree Fayre Success! - Great Doddington Primary School

Thank you to everyone who came to the fayre on Sat 8th Dec. 2012. From the feedback I’ve been getting the move to have it on a Saturday was a good one. I have to agree with this too. The stalls were spread out more, more room for hooking ducks, more room for playing your cards right, more room for lucky dipping to name a few, and more room for the Festive Cafe, which went down a storm, something we couldn’t do on a Friday straight after school. The Choir sang beautifully and we welcomed quite a few people from the village to the school too. The prize for the best Christmas Tree Decoration went to Ewan Doak, Mexico class. He made a fabulous lantern (complete with flickering light!) Well done Ewan! Ewan’s decoration and along with all the other children’s superb creations adorned the school tree in the foyer. Thank you to all who took part, you clearly had spent a lot of time making your entries. The Fayre raised a brilliant £481.54 and we will be getting this fund matched by Barclaycard’s £4£ scheme, bringing the final total up to an excellent £963.08. THANK –YOU!!

We meet every Sunday at 11 am for Family Service. We are a small and friendly Chapel, with a growing Sunday School, and are always glad to welcome new members.
